Each year the St. Louis Area Historical Society has a Strawberry Shortcake Sale in the middle of June as a fundraiser for their projects. This year the treats cost only $3.00 each, including delivery. Many volunteers give of their time to bake, package and deliver the orders and over 900 Strawberry Shortcakes were served in 2009!
