Tree Removal Program 2012

2012 City of St. Louis Hazardous Tree Removal

The City of St. Louis is about to begin hazardous tree removal for 2012.  This will involve taking down trees in public rights of way and easements that are dead or diseased as well as some that are becoming a hindrance to maintaining overhead power lines, underground utilities and streets and sidewalks.  In some cases only trimming of trees will take place and in other cases trees will be removed completely.  In cases where trees are removed, the stumps will be ground and areas will be restored in the spring.
