St. Louis’ branch of the Gratiot Area Chamber of Commerce, the Middle of the Mitten Association, is dedicated to improving the business climate in the St. Louis area as well as to support community events. Some of the events that the Middle of the Mitten Association sponsors or assists are:

The Middle of the Mitten Association meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 12:15 p.m. in Council Chambers in City Hall. Lunch is brought in at 11:45 a.m. and the public is encouraged to join in and participate.
The Middle of the Mitten Association is also a long-time member of the Michigan Festival & Events Association.
