Independence Festival

Join us in St. Louis on Saturday July 12th for a full day of fun celebrating Independence Day and end your night with a beautiful fireworks display in the sky over the Pine River!
Enjoy a Vendor Show in the City Hall parking lot (300 N. Mill) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Support local crafters and see what they have to offer! Food trucks will be available.
Touch-a-Truck from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bring the kids on out to check out some of the neat vehicles in the community! Walk around Mill Street learning more about some of these unique people and the vehicles they work with.
The MooseRiders third annual Bike Show is from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Registration begins at 10 a.m. Bring your bike on out, meet like-minded people, and enjoy a good time in St. Louis! Call 989-681-5040 for more information.
A Dunk Tank will be located in the parking lot near the pool starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by Free Swim at the W.T. Morris Pool in the afternoon from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m.
The St. Louis Farmers Market, located at 201 N. Mill Street, will be in full swing on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., opening up the farm stand, hosting some yummy food options, and organizing a super fun All American Strength Competition from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.!
The St. Louis Historical Society museum located at 110 E. Crawford Street will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Fireworks & Finds from 5:00 p.m. until the fireworks. Get on out to 520 Olive Street (the old Church of God building) for their ‘after dark’ market!
The new owners are looking forward to bringing the space to life. There will be games, food, drinks, and vendors.
Open Door Events presents a Cornhole Tournament starting at 7:00 p.m. at the 520 Olive Street address. Registration is required. You can sign up by clicking this link.
The annual concert in Clapp Park is back with food, games, and live music from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Don’t miss out on free snow cones and hot dogs!
Miranda & the M80s will perform in the City Hall parking lot (300 N. Mill Street) from 5:30-9:30 p.m. The concert is free and welcome to everyone. Food trucks and local restaurants will be open during the show.
At dusk (approximately 10:00 p.m.) the festival will conclude with a beautiful fireworks display, sponsored by Gratiot Area Chamber/St. Louis Middle of the Mitten Association.
