Per Granger’s website, there are no service delays for Christmas or New Year’s. Please put your trash and/or recycling carts out on the normal days.
A reminder that DPW picks up Christmas trees (cut trees, not artificial) during normal brush week, i.e. the first full week of the month that does not include a holiday. Brush pick-up in January begins on the 9th. Make sure to remove any wire, string, decorations, or other foreign material attached to the tree.
In observance of the New Year holiday, City Hall and other City offices will be closed Friday December 30th and Monday January 2nd. The library will be open from 10:00-2:00 on Friday December 30th, closed Saturday December 31st and Monday January 2nd.
Please remember to keep fire hydrants and drains clear of snow. It is illegal to plow snow from your driveway or walks into or across the street as this can hinder snow removal by City crews. To view the City’s Snow Removal Policy, visit the Department of Public Works’s page.
