Sealed Bids for the construction of the Maple Street Reconstruction will be received, by the City of St. Louis, at the office of the City of St. Louis, 300 N. Mill Street, St. Louis, MI 48880 until 10:00 AM local time on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of removing and replacing the water main, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and reconstructing the roadway.


Each proposal shall be accompanied by certified check or bidder's bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. Checks shall be drawn payable to City of St. Louis as security for the acceptance of the Contract and subject to the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders.


The Owner reserves the right to waive an informality in any bid, to reject any or all bids, or accept any bid which is considered most favorable to the Owner.


A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am local time on the 12th day of September

2019 at the office of the City of St. Louis.


Electronic copies of plans, proposal forms and specifications may be viewed beginning Monday, August,

19, 2019 on the bidding section of the Spicer Group website at Use the Bid Form in the specifications for submittal of sealed bid. All addendums will also be posted to this website. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring all addendums have been received and acknowledged prior to submittal of the bid. No paper copies of these documents will be available for purchase.
