REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY, MARCH 11TH, 2013

The Regular Meeting of the Saint Louis Parks & Recreation Commission was called to Order by Kevin Palmer, Chairman at 4:15 P.M.
ROLL CALL:
Members Present: Kevin Palmer; Dorothy Trgina; Mary Reed; and Sally Church.
Members Absent: Jeff DeRosia, Excused; Melissa Allen, Excused.
Others Present: Robert McConkie, City Manager; Kurt Giles, Utility Department; and Jerry Church.
Approval of February 11th, 2013 Minutes. Motion by Mary Reed, Seconded by Sally Church, to accept the Minutes of the February 11th, 2013 Meeting. Discussion. Motion Carried.
No Changes to the Agenda.
Financial Report: Motion by Kevin Palmer, Seconded by Mary Reed, to place the Financial Report, as prepared, on file. Discussion. Motion Carried.
BUSINESS:
a. Appointment of Parks & Recreation Commission Member. Motion by Sally Church, Seconded by Mary Reed, to submit the name of Kathy Jusilla to the City Council for appointment to the Parks & Recreation Commission Board. Discussion. Motion Carried.
b. Mary Reed, a Member of the Parks & Recreation Commission as well as the Saint Louis Garden Club presented the final draft of the Founder's Square in Clapp Park. This draft was passed around. Discussion on funds and fund raising for this project.
Mary Reed shared a draft of the proposed planting plan for in front of the present City Hall. A draft of this was passed around.
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the Meeting was Adjourned at 4:35 P.M.
The next Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting will be held on Monday, April 8th, 2013 at 4:15 P.M.
