4th of July Fireworks

The 4th of July has been an important holiday in St. Louis for much of its history.  St. Louis celebrates Independence Day every year on the first Saturday of July with the most extensive fireworks display in the area.

This year’s celebration will be held on Saturday, July 1.

The flyer above shows activities in Clapp Park, while there will also be a Free Swim at the W.T. Morris Memorial Pool, sponsored by Needham's Home Center and City-Wide Garage Sales.

The City of St. Louis and the Gratiot Area Chamber/St. Louis Middle of the Mitten Association sponsor the fireworks each year.  However, in 2017 we'd like to give a heartfelt thanks to Char Derocher who gave a generous donation in memory of her late husband Mick, who always loved the St. Louis fireworks show.

More information can be obtained by e-mailing phansen@stlouismi.com or calling City Hall at (989) 681-3017.
