| | Memorial Day | | | |
| | Each year on Memorial Day, the St. Louis V.F.W. Post #3055 sponsors a parade through town. The parade includes a decorated bicycle contest, school bands, and a variety of other entrants. The Middle of the Mitten Association donates small flags that are handed out along the parade route. There is also a tribute to sailors lost at sea, a twenty-one gun salute and a Veterans service at the Veterans Hill section of Oak Grove Cemetery.
